Citizen Review Committee volunteers reviewed requests of area agencies to determine program funding levels for 2008.
AREAS OF IMPACT:
Nurturing Children & Youth: programs that provide children with tools that will enable them to be more successful in life.
Helping In Hard Times: providing basic human needs like food, clothing and safe shelter.
Developing Family and Individual Life Skills: programs that help adults develop skills that will enable them to be successful employees and parents, and attain personal self-sufficiency.
Promoting Good Health: programs that offer treatment, medications, support groups and palliative care to the under-insured, and programs that help people become and stay healthy and well.
