Orrville Area United Way is proud to partner with One Eighty. The mission of One Eighty is “helping people change direction”. OAUW financially supports two One Eighty programs – Addiction Treatment Services and the Emergency Crisis Shelter, known as ‘Julia’s Place’. These programs contribute to two of OAUW’s impact areas – Promoting Health & Wellness and Helping in Hard Times.
As of July 2022, the Addiction Treatment Program served 107 persons within the Orrville, Dalton, & Marshallville area, a higher number than was anticipated. One Eighty is the only local, nonprofit providing intensive outpatient programs, residential treatment programs, recovery coaching and medication assisted treatment. One Eighty collaborates with numerous local agencies to provide the best care possible.
Julia’s Place is projected to serve 26 persons in the Orrville, Dalton, & Marshallville area in 2022. Julia’s Place provides a safe place for victims/survivors (adults & their children) of domestic violence and abuse. While providing a safe place, One Eighty also assists clients in recovery from abuse and helps them attain self-sufficiency with long-term and short-term safety in mind.
